Appeal: Fatal collision on A47

Dear Resident,

A woman has died after a collision between a lorry and two cars on the A47 today (21 May).

The woman in her 50s, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was driving one of the cars involved in the crash at South Brink at 7.09am 

There were not believed to be any other serious injuries and the road remains closed.

Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the collision, saw any of the vehicles in the moments leading up to it, or anyone who has relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.

Anyone with any information about the collision is urged to report this to police online quoting Operation Thames or incident 72 of today. Call 101 if you do not have internet access.
